This will be a relaxed hour or so where you discover your natural grace and elegance in a relaxed, stress-free location.
If you’re a bit nervous about having your picture taken; this is an opportunity to refine your style, so on the big day you’re totally relaxed and confident.

There is nothing more fabulous nor as engaging as a finely produced wedding album. It’s something you’ll look at again and again. Nothing else quite tells your story in such an appealing way!

Good question; easy answer… Just go to my Contact page and fill out the form. I’ll then arrange a call with you and we can have a chat about your plans, hopes and desires for your day.

How do you work, Jon?
I’m so glad you asked… Lots of people feel uneasy about having their photo taken. My style is to engage you naturally; most of the time you won’t even realise I’ve caught you looking stunning. I’ll be in the background, making certain I capture all the big and little moments to create the story of your day. I won’t ask anyone to adopt cheesy poses; I’ll look for natural moments and put everyone at ease.
If you want set-piece group shots, that’s equally fine. I will take charge of those (with a little help from your ushers, perhaps…) so that everyone who is important to you have their moment to look amazing with you.
We can also discuss a pre-shoot or engagement shoot. This works well to help you feel more confident in front of the camera. As well as another great set of natural, at ease images, it helps us refine your details.
Are you available?
I’m taking bookings for 2024, 2025 and 2026 – if you’re looking that far ahead. I work any day of the week, so every day is good for me. If I’m busy on the day you have already committed to, I can point you to another photographer who will also tell your unique story.
Do you only work in the Peak District?
I take photos wherever I go. I enjoy travelling to new destinations and exploring what they have to offer. I have amazing photographs of Kent, Cornwall, Wales, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, the Lake District and Scotland and loads of other places in between. I’m one of those folk for whom the journey is as enjoyable as the destination.
The Peak District is where I live and it is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. I love it here and travel makes me appreciate it more and more.
Ok; I also have a few detail questions as well...?
No problem; I want you to feel confident and comfortable I’ve got everything under control, so here’s a few things to tick off:
– I have spare kit, so if one camera fails, I’ll keep working without a pause.
– Insurance – I have cover which should satisy your wedding planner, venue and anyone else who needs to know. I am also networked with other amazing photographers, so if I have an emergency, I’m very likely to find someone to cover at short notice.
– I’ll provide a few images shortly after the day for you to share. Afer your amazing day I’ll make certain I provide you with a finely crafted set of pictures in whatever format you prefer.
– On the day, I will only have one commitment. I’ll not be thinking about my next client – I will be concentrating on you!
