Who says you can’t have a bit of fun on your wedding day? Who says you have to stick to the rules? How could I resist an opportunity to shoot a Star Wars wedding featuring a knitted bouquet?
Your wedding day is the occasion when YOU get to choose how things will be. There’s no reason at all why you can’t have a hint of Star Wars in your day. If someone precious to you has gone to the trouble of knitting a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, you will keep treasure it throughout the day in her memory.
See if you can spot the personal little touches that made up the story of this Star Wars wedding in the photos below. This was a day full of joy, laughter and genuine affection – and therefore, a delight to photograph. The day dawned fresh and bright; the excited Bride arrived with her nervous Dad. Mum fussed around the dress, making sure it was absolutely perfect. The Bride and Groom shared their vows and rings – and an “energy field felt by all the living things present” witnessed the binding of the two worlds of this fun-loving couple. A shower of bubbles greeted the newly-married couple, a sparkling alternative to confetti which also delighted all the children present. Naturally, the Groom and Best Man marked this Star Wars wedding with light-sabres to mark the momentous event!
Meanwhile, the knitted bouquet never left the Bride’s hands…
Later, after a hearty meal, the happy couple and their guests filled the air with music, laughter and joy. The perfect start to married life – because this day created memories which will be treasured for ever.
